I don’t think either charge is true and that this is just some sort of plan to move Ailes out. The senior Murdoch is old and not long for the world but still keeps his left-wing progressive sons in check. If Aisles goes, look for Rupert to follow shortly and any of the shows on Fox that show a real conservative face will slowly but surely be gone.
Murdoch looks about 100 years older than Ailes.
