WaTimes – Legal analysts ripped Baltimore prosecutors Monday over their handling of the Freddie Gray case, saying the prosecution should drop all charges against the three remaining police officers or risk more embarrassment in the courtroom.
What’s more, John Banzhaf, an activist law professor at George Washington University, said he would file a complaint Tuesday with the Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission calling for the disbarment of the lead prosecutors in the trials of the six police officers accused of wrongdoing in the 2015 arrest and death of the 25-year-old black man.
The pointed criticism came Monday after Lt. Brian Rice was acquitted of all charges for his role in Gray’s arrest and death. The lieutenant was the highest-ranking of the accused officers, and his full acquittal was the third consecutive loss for prosecutors. Another trial ended in a hung jury in December, and a retrial has been scheduled. more here
scrolling thru this site has become a near impossibility again, this is my fifth attempt to write this message, several time int explorer just closes…i fear the liberal gremlins are at it again…
First thing Banzhaf has ever done that I agree with. Generally he sucks. He’s a big government tyrant law professor from George Washington U. Or he was.
Sorry. That triggered an inappropriate and irrelevant response from me.
There are no good guys in this story except the cops.
Fuck that! They shouldn’t just be “facing pressure for disbarment,” they should BE DISBARRED already!
Especially Mosby, with her Moochesque “bitchy resting face.”
@ mike, dump explorer. Try Palemoon. No problems for me with it.
That is one mean-assed ugly bitch.
Disbarment, eh? Well, it’s a start.
Affirmative action rears its disturbing head once more. Hell of a reason to give somebody a law degree.
Luckily she is a democrat and failure and spitefulness brings accolades and advancement.
Hell she might be up for a Supreme Court justice if the bitch of Benghazi finds enough dead democrats to vote her into office.
She and they will not be disbarred. They might have licenses suspended, or be given a written reprimand. That is assuming their state bar records are clean.
too funny. I went to the Maryland State Bar website to search the prosectors names. THe web site works fine, except for the link to look up attorneys and see if they have prior discipline. Someone got there ahead of me.
The affirmative action law degree Mosby got from the Cracker Jack Box, it really isn’t recognized anywhere but Maryland.
Cracker Jack ? She got her degree from a white dude !!!
@ Anon
Didn’t you mean a “low” degree?
Disbarment would suit me fine. But to see her in cuffs and an orange jump suit, along with the mayor, would really make my day.
Check out “Ferguson Verbatim: What really happened to Michael Brown.”
A film by Phelim McAleer. About one hour, but worth every minute.
I think if it ever got to a hearing on disbarment the ADA’s would throw Mosby under the bus so fast it would make her head spin. They’d blame her for bringing undue influence as well as threats to their jobs if they didn’t play along. I suspect she may be the only one facing disbarment.
On another note, why was the site so screwed up yesterday? It’s been a couple of times now that you can’t enter comments in (unless you like to watch each letter take a minute to show up) and page loading and back and forth seems to take forever. This doesn’t happen often though.
Disbarment is a resume enhancer.
Take Bill Clinton….. please!
(sorry Henny)
A black racist fool elected by a city full of them.
You think this is bad? Wait until muzzies are appointed as prosecutors and judges.
