Paramedics accused of taking selfies with unconscious patients

NYP: FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Authorities say two paramedics engaged in a “selfie war” by taking pictures with incapacitated patients.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office says in a news release that 24-year old Kayla Renee Dubois was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of interception and disclosure of oral communications. Authorities have issued arrest warrants for 33-year old Christopher Wimmer on seven counts of the same charge. The release says Wimmer also faces a misdemeanor battery charge for holding open the eyelid of a sedated patient.  more

  1. It’s worse when they butt fuck the corpses they transport. But that seldom makes it to the news cycle. Usually handled ‘internally’.

By and large we are lucky with the people willing to do the job EMS requires. They are skilled and dedicated men and women who do a very difficult job. I’ll buy ’em lunch on any given day.

But a percentage of perverts gravitate to the field.

  2. Coming from a military background, I think that’s hilarious. But where they made their mistake was in letting that which is digital out into the world. Remember, boys and girls, social media is not your friend, and digital is forever.
