Bernie voters start “Kaine Mutiny”

RedAlertPolitics: In poll after poll, around 50 percent of Bernie Sanders supporters say they will not vote for Hillary Clinton in November. Sanders voters were already planning “Bern It Down” events at the Democrats’ convention in Philadelphia — now, they’re even more angry.

News broke yesterday when WikiLeaks released emails showing the Democratic National Committee coordinated with Clinton’s campaign to attack Sanders for his faith, with a staffer saying voters would see “a big difference between a Jew and an atheist.”

Then last night, Clinton revealed her pick for Vice President: Virginia Senator Tim Kaine.

Instead of picking someone to appeal to Sanders’ millennial supporters, she picked someone who few millennials knew — and if they knew him, they didn’t like him. Some Sanders supporters even started the hashtag #KaineMutiny.  MORE

Oh, so much sadness and handwringing on Twitter…

  1. They shouldn’t. She’s a plagiarist:

Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) was officially announced as Hillary Clinton’s running mate in Miami this afternoon as she introduced him as a “progressive who likes to get things done.”

Trump, last May: “I don’t want to name anybody — what I would most likely be looking at, and I feel like I’d be going a little bit in reverse, in other words, I’d be going for a political person. Because I don’t need a business person, I need a political person. Somebody that can deal with the hill, that can deal with Congress and get things done, get things passed, et cetera, et cetera,” he said in an interview with Breitbart News.

  2. I frequent REgressive sites and let me tell you, they are royally pissed at the whole Bernie thing and now picking Kaine, which is seen as yet one more slap in their faces.

Most of them will never ever vote for Trump but there’s a lot that simply can not bring themselves to vote for Hillary knowing full well that it probably will get Trump elected-even Michael Moore concedes that Trump will win. They’re afraid of her warmongering tendencies and her obvious ties(and lies about) to the too big to fail bunch. While they recognize Trump is exactly right about trade and jobs, he’s just too much of a…sheesh, fill in your own slur.

There’s a lot of them, in fact I’d say a clear majority that are going for Jill Stein. Believe you me, I’m doing all I can to encourage that line of thought.

Could it be anymore delicious than the prospect of a 3rd party finally damaging the dems???

  3. MM — I hate to break it to you, but having been in the belly of that beast, I can report that what the D’s are going through right now is nothing out of the ordinary — only this time it’s Bernie Sanders. Yeah, it’s getting more media attention (or so it seems), but the bigger story is that Sanders message is the same as obama’s without the added melanin and the exotic name. And the funny thing is, Sanders’ supporters won’t vote for the woman who is Barry’s third term; they want the ‘Progressive’ candidate! lol!

In terms of percentages, I wouldn’t be surprised, when all the noses are counted, that we arrive at the same ~23% or so who will remain hard-core, “vote your conscience”, Sanders supporters who will not vote for Killery. Stein will probably get the lion’s share, but many will also vote for Trump just out of spite or because they agree on his trade reform plank.

  4. MM — Not to put too fine a point on it: I meant to add that Cruzborgs are feeling the burn, too. They’ll vote for Killery because they want “the conservative candidate.” LOL!

  5. “… progressive who likes to get things done.”

A “progressive” is a Wilsonian Socialist – more akin to a National Socialist than an Italian Socialist (aka Fascist). Wilsonian Socialism has a virulent strain of racist running through it, just as does National Socialism, though geared more towards prevention of birth rather than extinguishing life from those already born.

It truly is a shame and a lament that our “educational” system is so corrupt – otherwise this manner of maliciousness would never see the light of day.

    izlamo delenda est …

  6. AA-I believe there are a lot more Jill Stein voters then #neverTrump(ers)

The last time I can remember REgressives were so wanked off at the dem’s nominee was when Ralph Nadar ran in 2000. Nader arguably cost Gore the election.

The mindset I’m seeing at REgressive sites is one of dismay as they clearly understand that voting Jill Stein is essentially voting for Trump but they can not bring themselves to vote for Hillary.

The leaked emails, the obvious collision between the left dominated media & Hillary’s campaign, the superdelagates, the failure to address globalism & the TPP, the Kaine pick-all of these and more are giving them the exact same message years of UniParty crap from Boehner, Ryan, McConnell, et.al. have been giving us. And they’re equally fed up.

I see this sentiment building every day as more & more treachery is being exposed. Of course you’re going to have the moment of truth when they actually are in the booth, but it sure appears as though there’s a solid contingent lining up for Stein.

Just call me Mr Silver Lining

  7. I’m looking forward to seeing them bern her ass during the convention. As Election Day approaches you’ll be able to taste the desperation of the democrats.

This November will go down in history as the Second Coming of the Democrats because the dead will rise and vote again so they can drag their rotting corpses to her inauguration. Seriously, Hillary will have to go all out on voter fraud. They’ll be stuffing the ballot boxes with dead Bernie voters who tried to vote for Trump.

  8. “progressive who likes to get things done.”

What she’s saying here is that she can’t get things done and as a female, I need a male to do the job. LOL! Progressive women are too stupid to understand that this is what she’s saying. It might turn out to be a Biden/Warren ticket. Kaine is being played.

  9. “progressive who likes to get things done”

That is being dutifully disseminated by the MSM already. But you can’t just put lipstick on a pig and call it prog.

  10. I’d be worried if I were Hillary. The GOPe had its nemesis in the Tea Party, and now she faces the Kaine Mutiny. Both were ship-borne insurrections. Not a good omen.

Okay, I realize “The Caine Mutiny” is based on fiction, but so is her campaign.

  11. “Progressive who likes to get things done”???

Where is the evidence? Tim Kaine’s biggest accomplishments as governor were closing highway rest stops b/c he couldn’t create a balanced budget and forcing his no smoking agenda on business whether they liked it or not.

And he put on his really, really sad face after the Virginia Tech massacre, mumbling about gun control, but unable (fortunately) to do anything about it.

As senator he’s a back bencher who is nothing but a lap dog for Obama.
