Regated: Hillary Clinton, through her spokesman, has said, “any new trade measure has to pass two tests: First, it should put us in a position to protect American workers, raise wages and create more good jobs at home.” While this ‘test’ sounds politically nice and feasible, Clinton has — in practice — never grounded her trade agenda on that test when it comes to trade.
Clinton has supported the most destructive trade deals, all of which were heavily opposed by organized labor. Donald Trump, on the other hand, has been a long, consistent voice opposing these trade deals.
