NFL Insider: Kaepernick Could Be Released

MRCTV: San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick might get released by the Bay Area team, but it’s not for the reason you might think.

Fox Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer spoke publicly about Kaepernick’s chances of keeping his multi-million dollar mega deal with the Niners. Glazer intimated that Kaepernick’s possible release from the team will have nothing to do with his political stance.

According to Fox Sports, Glazer said the following:

Regardless of politics or not, he has a very, very big uphill battle to make this team,” Glazer said on FOX Sunday. “I’d be shocked if he’s on the 49ers by the time this season ends. It has nothing to do with political views whatsoever. He lost a ton of weight this offseason, had three surgeries, couldn’t work out, lost that double threat, that size-speed ratio. No political views, he just hasn’t been effective. He’s regressing as a player. I’d be shocked if he’s on this roster by the end of this year. He may not be on it in the next two weeks.  MORE

  1. “He lost a ton of weight this offseason, had three surgeries, couldn’t work out, lost that double threat, that size-speed ratio.”

Yeah. Goat humping’ll do that to ya.

  2. “will have nothing to do with his political stance.”

Who cares!!! As long as he’s out of a job, out of the spot light, looking to have his butt kicked some place else, it doesn’t matter to me just as long as he’s gone.

  3. Because Islamic countries do not oppress anyone. WTF logic is that. There is not a more TOLERANT religion than Christianity, and there is not a more TOLERANT country (or used to be) than USA.

  4. He’s been terrible. Lost his arm. He might have been juicing when he was buffed up a few years ago. Golden boy/white boy Gabbert is beating him out and he started subconsciously playing the race card.

  5. Knappynickers is learning the First Rule of the free market (and the Free World):
    “NO ONE is not expendable.”

In a highly competitive field, you don’t want to give your employers a reason to choose another over you.
