AmericanMirror: A Detroit pastor is feeling the heat for inviting Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to a Saturday morning service, as well as an interview with the pastor’s Christian TV show afterwards
Apostle Wayne T. Jackson of Detroit’s Great Faith Ministries wants to hear The Donald out on the his plans for the black community, and his focus, if elected.
But many in his congregation, other black community leaders, and local liberal politicians are lambasting the outspoken clergyman for what they perceive as a publicity stunt.
In numerous recent Facebook posts, Jackson has defended the decision to host Trump and insisted that black Americans should hear from both presidential candidates, preferably in person, before heading to the voting booth. MORE
We need a multiyear dose of Patrick Moynihan’s benign neglect.
Black pundits say Trump can’t talk to blacks through televised speeches. He has to go into the black community. Anyone who hosts Trump in the black community is a sell-out Uncle Tom.
I use the word community loosely.
It’s great that Trump is going to Detroit.
He is going to be right next door to Dearborn,so which mosque invited him?
Supirsed? The worst racists allowed to operate openly are dark-skinned.
Am I alone thinking the NYT claiming they got a script of the meeting is bull shit?
Aggie — The NYT’s is claiming that? We need to dub all American press “Fractured Fairy Tales.”
The race baiters and hustlers’ days are numbered. Oh happy day! Right now they don’t know whether they are afoot or horseback. Where is Sharpton, Jackson, and the rest of them right now? Haven’t heard from most of them in a while. I guess they haven’t figured out, yet, how to weasel their way into a Trump administration. Good luck with that!
Why talk to Trump? After all, look how wonderful Utopian Detroit is doing without any Republican help.

The hypocrisy of the Left:
b!tch that Trump doesn’t “reach out and meet with” Blacks,
then b!tch when Trump arranges to “reach out and meet with” Blacks.
Rinse and repeat.
Death to the Left.
“But many in his congregation, other black community leaders, and local liberal politicians are lambasting the outspoken clergyman for what they perceive as a publicity stunt.”
The writer forgot to include a few things in his paragraph. I will fix it as it should have been written.
“But many Democrats in his congregation, other Democratic black community leaders, and local Democrat liberal politicians are lambasting the outspoken clergyman for going off the left wing plantation.”
There, much better now.
AA – NYT should change their logo to something with a toga and a chariot?
Not far from Detroit, would love to drive down to the church. But alas I’m white and might be murdered. No, this post is not a joke.
Stepping out of line is verboten!
Let me guess, those doing the criticizing identify themselves as Christians?
How very Christian of them.
Apostle Wayne T. Jackson of Detroit’s Great Faith Ministries next sermon needs to be about the Good Samaritan.
Talk about biting the hand that’s trying to teach you how to fish.
I learned a new word, mixaphor.
Another knee jerk reaction from leftist black cult church goers who think it’s more important to be black than Christians.
They are as bad as the KKK. As a Christian, we are no longer driven by outer features, but spiritually transformed by Christ, who becomes our only barometer. Once we accept Christ as Savior and Lord, our identity should only be associated with him.
The pastor needs to stand for Christ alone and preach a sermon on Galatians 3:28.
AA,
How about dubbing the media “Fractured Fairy Taints?”
