THR: The overnight incident was a hot topic of discussion on Monday morning.
While French politicians such as Mayor Anne Hidalgo expressed sympathy for Kim Kardashian after the reality TV star was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday night, many members of the international press and fashion show attendees at Paris Fashion Week seemed a bit more skeptical of how severe Kardashian’s ordeal was.
Reporters gathered in front of the private hotel where the incident occurred seemed to react with a Gallic shrug.
“Where did they get a gun? Sounds fake,” was the first reaction of one British journalist. She was quickly seconded by an American who thought “the whole thing sounds made up.”
