Hillary Won’t Fly Coach

Recovered emails deleted by Clinton show the former secretary of state insisted on flying first class.

PoliZette: Hillary Clinton didn’t like the idea of flying coach in 2010, according to emails released by the U.S. State Department.

The emails are from Clinton’s private email account, used while she was secretary of state from 2009 to 2013. Some emails that Clinton had deleted, but that were later recovered by the FBI, were released by State in a document dump on Friday afternoon.

In one batch, Clinton and her top aide, Huma Abedin, email each other about travel arrangements on Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010. It’s not clear what flight she is taking about, from what airport or whether they were discussing a commercial flight or an official government transport — but it’s rather clear that Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, does not like to fly coach.

Abedin lets Clinton know she is having trouble getting her first-class seats on a flight.

“Just heard back from mario [sic],” Abedin wrotes. “The 5pm is full. Holding seats on the 6pm, but only coach available fyi. He’s been working on it for last hour.”

  1. Me neither.
The article seems to believe that only rich elitists are in first class. Not true. Most are frequent flyers. The road warriors with lots of upgrades. They deserve those seats. I know I did!

  2. Why should Her Satanic Majesty fly other than First Class?

She is “Beyond Good and Evil” and has a criminal past which would have landed most people on the end of a rope. She has, literally, gotten away with murder. She has the protection of the DoJ and the FBI, the CIA and the NSA.

Fuck the “Little People” – they can eat cake – or they can eat shit – she doesn’t really GAF which – as long as she’s allowed to continue her evil ways.

    izlamo delenda est …

  3. She’s right on this one. If you’re a high profile person then you stand a lot less chance of being hammered by autograph seekers, people who want to debate or complain etc etc. As well, you’ll get a lot more work done in first class then if you’re in coach. I’m surprised as well that a high government official is allowed to go coach, it’s more expensive but safer and it’s also cheaper than them taking out a government jet.

  4. My boss, who is a pretty high-profile guy and flies 1st-class when he can, has spoken at several of the Clinton Global Initiative events over the past 12 months. They reimburse travel, only economy airfare and nothing else, they take care of the hotel. So pretty cheap. He normally charges up to $40k for a speech and is doing these for the connections only.
