Report: Megyn Kelly Seeks over $20 Million a Year from Fox News

BigJournalism:

Megyn Kelly is shooting to earn over $20 million every year from Fox News, according to a report on her contract negotiations from the Wall Street Journal (both FNC and WSJ are owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp).

From the Wall Street Journal:

Fox News star Megyn Kelly has changed agents and publicity teams since last year. Now the question is if she will change TV networks.

Host of “The Kelly File,” one of the cable-news channel’s most popular shows, Ms. Kelly is in active talks over her contract, which expires next July. Her profile has been rising during the presidential election cycle, in part thanks to a dust-up with Republican candidate Donald Trump.

Keeping Ms. Kelly is a priority for senior management, including Rupert Murdoch, chief executive of Fox News and co-executive chairman of its parent company, 21st Century Fox.

  1. Changing agents and PR firm (Pimps) has caused a 180 degree transformation to become more marketable.

Going from a wholesome household figure, then to a whore and finally to a prostitute is very lucrative.

She has and is using trump’s campaign as a springboard to another major network, but she had to become more of a progressive to sell herself to the highest bidder.

Her actions are transparent, anything for the almighty dollar.
Not a run of the mill prostitute, she’s a chameleon, she’ll be who or whatever you want, as long as you pay here handsomely.

  2. That would make her one over-priced call girl or to put it crudely, one overpaid media whore.

Hopefully, CNN will offer her more and she will then fade into obscurity.

  3. “… to earn over $20 million …”

    Scuse me. “Earn?” “Earn?”

    Ya gotta be shittin me!

If FOX paid me, I MIGHT watch Kelly – otherwise – fuggitaboutit.

    izlamo delenda est …

  4. She’s gone from mildly annoying to completely unwatchable.

Her show’s ratings have dropped 30% since she commenced her Progressive Makeover.

The Murdochs will soon complete the leftist reprogramming of FOX into “MSNBC Lite”.
They will lose at least 50% of their audience when they do.

The Left destroys everything it touches.

  5. she’s done to me

i can’t decide if i’d like it more if she were thrown out on her ass with nothing, or if fox would give her twenty million and be a total waste of money and a loss for fox news.

can’t stand either one of them.

there’s a new conservative channel getting ready to launch in addition to the Trump channel they keep talking about.

we’re going to have alternatives and i hope fox news crashes and burns.

  6. Her viewer numbers are down, the hate for her and fux is growing, and she’s looking for a raise?..Maddow’s ratings are beating her’s, Seem’s that maddow should be going for the raise..

  7. Because of the treatment of Fox news to Trump (except Shawn Hannity) Megan was the final straw. I have turned them off, don’t watch at all. I just listen to Shawn on satellite radio on the way home.
Her last interview with Newt Gingrich showed what a POS media whore really is.

  8. Wouldn’t Hi LIAR y have something to say about that salary? Dems sure make a stink about Republicans that make a lot of money

Don’t care what she makes, she dresses like a hooker and wants to be taken seriously. I a m all for assertive women but she is snarky and arrogant and I stopped watching her long ago.

Fox will lose money if they pay her what she thinks she is worth.
