LAT: Moving to quell widespread criticism, Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter on Wednesday ordered the Pentagon to suspend efforts to claw back enlistment bonuses improperly given to thousands of California National Guard members during the height of the Iraq war.

  1. “suspend all efforts to collect reimbursements”

there shouldn’t have been an effort to collect in the first fucking place

they signed with good faith, and you can never put faith in leftist administrations, as they hate defense and soldiers don’t fit their social agenda narrative

god please help us to turn this sinking ship 180 on 11/8 and get the hell out of this mess

    amen

  2. Who in their right mind would believe anything coming from our current federal government. When even a signed contact to pay a bonus to entice you into putting yourself in harms way isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on you know we have lost all credibility and are totally lacking of any integrity. All those involved with the attempt to recover those bonuses should be parachuted into Afghanistan and tell them to watch for another parachute drop, that is where your weapons will be.

  3. The five sided fox hole should eat the money, fire up the crooked recruiters, and quit pussy farting over money already paid. Hell it is less change than the continual Obama vacations, golf outings, and the equipment “left behind” for isis fighters. Better yet take the money you think is owed from Clinton’s ill begotten cookie jar cash.
