contest – All the men of IOTWR bake several batches of cookies each batch different. They mail samples, lots of samples, to all the IOTWR women.
We judge and award some IOTWR $$$.
It may take numerous rounds of sampling to decide a winner.
If you get off your fat cookie eating ass and exercise you can eat whatever you want.

Cookies, schmookies! Gimme a plate of my wife’s shortbread. She makes the finest shortbread on earth.
I guess if I want Christmas cookies I could ask her to use some green or red food coloring…
@ Uncle Al — MMMMMmmmmmm. Shortbread is my personal favorite. But to make your declaration more weighty it should be “She makes the finest shortbread in all the land.”
(I just ate 2 Walkers shortbread cookies tonight w/milk. MMMmmmmm.)
mmmmmmmmmm shortbread. Everybody loves it. I make mine with only three ingredients, 2 sticks of butter melted, 2 C flour, half cup sugar.
Mix the sugar with the melted butter, add flour, press into your pan, prick it with a fork, cut it. Bake at 350 until brown, cut it again along the lines, sprinkle with sugar, cool on a rack.

Walker’s is very good, but by way of comparison my wife’s shortbread makes Walkers taste like pressed dust.
