USA Today: Ultra-luxury car brand Bentley on Thursday revealed its “fastest and most powerful” vehicle ever: the third-generation Bentley Continental Supersports.
With a 6-liter, 12-cylinder, twin-turbocharged engine, the redesigned four-seat vehicle will travel zero to 60 miles per hour in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 209 mph.
“Only Bentley could create a car which blends immense performance and unrivaled luxury in this way,” Bentley CEO Wolfgang Durheimer said in a statement.
The Volkswagen Group brand revealed details and photos of the Bentley Continental Supersports for the first time Thursday night. The vehicle will make its official debut Sunday morning in an event tied to the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. more

Years ago (hell decades truth be told) used go down to Yorkville on Saturday nights (Toronto Nightspot with all the trendy bistros and nightclubs) and watch all the middle aged (and some young and older) “cruising” with their Ferrari’s, astin martins, lambo’s etc looking for chicks or already with the trophy blondes. What was funny about this Canadian version of America Graffiti was that there was really no place in the City (or it’s immediate area where they could take these cars out of first gear. If they got on the 401 (trans Canada Highway) the best would be second. What the hell, if I had the money I might rent one for a day. In Germany. On the Autobahn.
Now picture the 16 year old son of some rich bastard taking this out for a joy ride the day after he gets his license.
