DailyCaller: President-elect Donald Trump announced the addition of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani to a White House team tasked with improving cyber security both within the government and private sector Thursday morning.
Giuliani — who currently serves as both chairman and CEO of Giuliani Partners and chairman of global cyber security practice at Greenberg Traurig — will “be sharing his expertise and insight as a trusted friend concerning private sector cyber security problems and emerging solutions developing in the private sector,” Trump’s transition team wrote in a statement.

Rudy has expertise on only one area: self-serving capitalizing on just happening to be the mayor of NYC on 9/11.
Oh, I have to add he’s good at being a loudmouth blowhard asshole.
As Uncle Al implied, everyone has a special qualities , Rudy has found his niche. He has found a position that requires little input or effort from him, keeps his name in lights and provides him a soap box.
The fact is we are in need of serious government cyber security. IF DJT thinks he can do the best job, so be it!
“emerging solutions developing in the private sector”
We’re talking yuge contracts. Yuge.
Of course, the government does need the help. Largely because they have harassed (and even destroyed) anyone trying to help them out with this, for decades.
They literally would not listen to people warning them about this stuff – and went to great lengths to completely alienate those people that could have helped.
I dunno. Was kinda hoping he’d be the Czar of slapping liberals.
Maybe deputize a few million of us.
Could happen. 😎
Uncle Al. You didn’t finish your post.
…This is a non-veiled payback for support.
I was reading an article yesterday that
his company was recently hacked as they
hadn’t updated the system since 2012.
