City Passes Law That Fines Parents Of Bullies

3PN:

The time has come in our nation when we have finally started to address the issue of bullying. What was long considered to be a natural part of growing up has become a national discussion on how to create safe places and nurturing environments for our children.

Realizing that the behavior of children is both something they learn through observing adults, and that can be redirected through the proper measures, on Wisconsin town has come up with an interesting plan to stop bullies. You are going to love their idea.

The Shawano city council just approved a new ordinance that allows the local police department to intervene in cases of bullying. The law applies to any child under the age of eighteen years old and is designed to target a number of types of harassment, from stealing lunch money to cyberbullying.

  1. Great. Lets create a ‘safe space’ to produce more useless snowflakes. Bullying is part of growing up; it is a learning experience for both the bully and the bullied. Parents need to take the lead on this, and that doesn’t mean telling one’s child “…if you ignore him he’ll leave you alone…”

  2. Like cops don’t already have enough on their plates. Sounds to me like another leftist group is trying to get more officers in the hot seat. I can hear it now “BULLY LIVES MATTER!”

  3. Does this include teachers who bully the children of conservatives?
    Children of Trump supporters?
Restaurants and other public establishments that bully Republicans?
Conservatives on FB bullied by FemiNazis, EnviroNazis, and NaziNazis?

Gee, I’m about to cry just thinking about all the bullying that goes on …

  4. I agree that physical bullying should stop. Children must learn that the initiation of physical violence is wrong. (And when they grow up they can then apply this concept to the government.) However they should apply the same assault laws to minors as to adults.

  5. Bullies are basically just emotionally insecure kids looking to impress.
And nothing impresses them like a baseball bat. Nothing.
    Believe me.

(now, this was in the days before kids carried guns to school – but I’m pretty sure a gun would make an impression, too)

  6. There was a documentary some years ago in which Japanese and American teachers toured each other’s schools.
The Americans were surprised to see that in Japanese schools, bulies were ignored, but that over time the ostracization from other kids turned the bullies more sociable.
When the Japanese teachers visited American schools, they saw teachers rushing in to resolve situations with lots of questioning and mind games. The punch line was from one visiting teacher: “Ah, now we understand why you Americans need so many lawyers!”

Tim; Don’t forget the biggest hypocrites and bullies; the news media. Charlie rose, nora o’donnel, gail king, matt lauer, savannah guthrie, stephiecockulus, david muir, scott pelley and almost everyone in whorywood.
Last week they were talking about some new “kindness” push while they nonstop bashed Trump and everyone in the new gov’t.
Things will not change until they are defeated one way or another!

  8. I was bullied once in eighth grade, it was a country school. My teacher, also the principal, grabbed the bullying kid and told him to get upstairs. As the bully went up the stairs, the principal, carrying a hard ball threw it as hard as he could. Hit the bully in the back. Imagine that happening today. BTW the bully never retaliated.
