Comedians are usually used to hecklers in the crowd but George Lopez had a total meltdown when his joke wasn’t appreciated by one audience member. “There are only two rules in the Latino family — don’t marry somebody black and don’t park in front of our house,” he quipped at a show in Phoenix. The comedian went berserk on a woman after she didn’t find that funny.
According to TMZ, the fan – believed to have been a black woman – flipped Lopez off and he went off. He yelled expletives at them and kicked them out of the venue. “Sit your f*cking ass down. I’m talking b*tch. Sit your f*cking ass down,” he said. “You paid to see a show. Sit your ass down. You can’t take a joke, you’re in the wrong motherf*cking place.” The audience laughed at this and then cheered. “Get the f*ck out of here. I made the choice for you. Bye!”
Was it just a joke or did Lopez take it too far?

Seriously, who would pay to see George Lopez? The only way he could make me laugh is if he got tipped over in a Port-a-John.
When she went into the venue, she knew it was raunchy and would probably not be very politically correct. Comedy shows are not cafeterias, where you can choose which punch lines offend you. If you sit in these acerbic, shock-comic shows long enough, everybody’s ox will get gored. If you’re too sensitive or prone to trigger warnings, go see the mime, instead.

Didn’t watch it, but it was interesting to see blacks bending backwards trying to defend him, just because he’s a Trump hater. When I pointed that out on Twitter, I was told that I’m “delusional for incorporate politics in comedy.”

First mistake was buying a ticket, thinking you were going to see something funny from Senor Lopez. Spoiler alert – he’s a Mexican. There, I just revealed every punchline in his act.
