When it comes to Donald Trump, Congressional Democrats have arrived at the third stage of grief: Bargaining – IOTW Report

When it comes to Donald Trump, Congressional Democrats have arrived at the third stage of grief: Bargaining

What is this – an episode of 24?

PatriotRetort: The latest attempt to deal with the loss of Hillary Clinton is the 25th Amendment to the Constitution – specifically Section 4:

4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments

That is, the Cabinet.

or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

So, in other words, the Democrats want the Vice President and the Cabinet to declare that President Trump is unable to “discharge the powers and duties of his office.

Why? Well, because of that press conference he held last week.

And on that day the phrase “flimsy excuse” was redefined.

Odd. Here I thought only in an episode of 24 do political opponents try to use the 25th Amendment to oust a president with whom they disagree.

They loved using the 25th Amendment on 24.

In Season Two, the Vice President and Cabinet voted to oust President David Palmer because he refused to launch a military attack in retaliation of a nuclear strike by terrorists in California.

In Season Six, the Vice President attempted to use the 25th Amendment to oust President Wayne Palmer after Palmer called off a retaliatory nuclear strike after terrorists detonated suitcase nukes in California.

Hey, no one will ever accuse the writers of 24 of originality.  more

  1. The left has a bigger problem than they think, because they are doubling down on the tactics that Obama used to give then cover on and Trump won’t. The politically aware citizens, cops, mayors, and governors who’ve had to put up with the left and their bullshit for decades are now in a serious position to push back. While that shitbag Obama let BLM & Black Bloc start riots, allowed Occupy and Code Stink to blockade commercial districts, tolerated supremely arrogant Aztlan style beaners acting as if the US is their country, and is currently encouraging OFA craptivists to block highways, disrupt town halls, and steal the bulk of the DNC’s campaign funds for activities that just piss most people off, Trump will not let them get a pass, and he won’t lift a finger to interfere with any city or state that has had enough of these marxist assholes. The deportations are just a start. I’m looking forward to some serious long term prison sentences in federal pound-me-in-the-ass prisons for anyone starting riots or blocking interstates. It really is time for this country to start taking out all the trash sub-humanity we’ve been having to take shit from since the goddamn GHW Bush administration.

  2. The demoncrats only have 1 stage…..the psychotic asshole stage. They are a joke now more than ever and should be ridiculed and laughed at(period)
Let them have alinsky shoved up their ass for a change.

  3. The Left is like a Seattle Goth band six months after Nirvana hit the big time.
No amount of bitching is going to alter the fact that the world has changed, things are different now, and there is no going back.
    Ignore this at your peril.

  4. Dams don’t burst in California and 70s in Chicago in February when Obama leaves office by coincidence. He really was a magic one. The resources Obama needed that Trump is cutting clearly shows in the results. Impeach Trump now to dry out California and freeze the Midwest.

  5. How about upping the anti? Write an executive order requiring Congress to work the same hours as the President. Be harder on the old farts McConnell and McCain. Have the fools in Congress actually do something to earn their pay!
