Breitbart: Democrats in Montana have opposed a bill banning the use of foreign law in its state courts on the grounds that such legislation would target Muslims.
Senate Bill 97, introduced by Keith Regier (R-Kalispell) bans the application of foreign law in Montana’s courts, with the debate particularly focused on Sharia Law, a form of Islamic law typically used in the Middle East.
Although the bill passed on party lines by 56-44, Democrats claimed it was designed to target Muslim communities.
“I think it sends a dangerous message to minority groups both here living in our state and wanting to come visit our state, just merely on the fact that you may be different,” said Rep. Shane Morigeau, D-Missoula, while debating the bill. “I truly believe this law is repugnant. I believe this is not who we are as Montanans.” more here

Force pro muslime politicians to host, in their own homes, a busload of military age male muslimes. Should be able to reason with the surviving politicians in a couple days.
I live in Montana, a state that voted firmly for Trump but has enough lofo citizens that believed false campaign ads and re-elected our lefty puppet governor. Gov. Bullock is a party tool willing and ready to veto any legislation that is pro gun and pro American. A few of our larger cities are university towns populated with hardcore leftists and mind numbed pukes and yes, an abundance of high dollar transplants from California and other liberal nests. The same leftist/liberal/progressive gut-piles that support allowing refugee bugs in our state and sanctuary cities.
I could go on but you all know the stories told wherever democrats are busy remaking the USA. We resist them hard and often.
I am sure them Dems would jump right on board with a law that would ban the Ten Commandments from being enacted as law. Gotta keep church and state separate, doncha know.

I was wondering how the hell Montana had a Democrat Governor (2 terms) while the state legislature was dominated by Republicans. Then I looked at the 2012 election where the Republican lost by about 1.6% and there it was, an idiot Libertarian who took 3.8%, In 2016 the Dem was re-elected by 3% with the idiot libertarian running again and getting 3%.
I suspect the Governor will veto this bill because while the Montana Senate has almost a 2/3 majority (short about a 1/3 of a senator) so it might carry the legislature does not (59 seats vs 41). I wonder how many other Libertarians ran and garnered enough votes to give the seat to a Democrat.
Perhaps a single Democrat would recognize their duty to protect the people and cross lines to override the likelihood of a coming veto. In any event, this issue ought to be tied to every Democrat and every Libertarian candidate in the next election, make sure there are pictures of what Sharia law will bring to Montana and keep hammering at it.

@scr_north – FYI, the Libertarian Party take votes from both the Dems and the Reps, frequently in approx. equal measure depending on the state. That the Lib candidate got a vote % greater than the winner’s margin does not mean that without the Lib the other candidate would have won.
Many who would otherwise be Dems register and vote Lib because of the LP’s platform plank to legalize drugs. There are other reasons but that’s the biggest one.
These ‘legislators’, aka representatives, just gave Montanans the reason they should be removed from office: they would legislate in defiance of the Constitution.
Sharia Law does not comply with either Constitution, the US or Montana’s. Furthermore, Sharia Law demands supremacy over all other Law.
Impeach them. A US State Legislator is NOT who there are. Undeniably.
