Dash Camera Video Shows Michael Singleton Attempting To Intimidate Norway Police Officer

BlueLivesMatter: Norway, South Carolina – City councilman Michael Singleton was arrested after threatening a Norway police officer on a traffic stop. The confrontation was captured on dash camera video (below.)

The unidentified police officer was conducting a traffic stop and issuing a ticket for a window tint violation. In the past, the driver had already been given a verbal warning and explanation how to bring the vehicle into compliance, and she failed to correct the problem.

City councilman Michael Singleton then arrived and the officer addressed him by name. Singleton demanded the driver’s license from the driver, who is his relative. Singleton then held the license up to the driver’s window, and proclaimed that if he could read the driver’s license through the window, then it was legal.

The officer didn’t pay attention to the city councilman’s explanation of the law. As the officer was trying to explain the ticket to the driver, Michael Singleton got next to him and then verbally interrupted.  MORE

  1. Lol. The big fish in a little pond mentality. In this case, a really big fish. That’s what happens when you think you’re a shark and it turns out you’re just a pilot.

  2. Isn’t ironic that if the cop was black and the commissioner white there’d be a lot of apologizing going on. The officer handled it correctly and w/o escalating it.

  3. Watch Singleton try to ride this incident right in to the mayor’s office and if enough lo info voters believe him and don’t bother to check for themselves, he just might do it.

  4. Must-a not closed that tag correctly. Sorry.

I forgot this bit; “Singleton then held the license up to the driver’s window, and proclaimed that if he could read the driver’s license through the window, then it was legal.”

That’s not how it works. That dude is like someone out of the bad holler.

  5. Wow. Made my day reading that the Chief was going to back his officer. So many times the Chain of Command gets behind the criminal, media leftists, City Hall, and all the arm chair quarterback activists before anyone knows what actually happened. Great job Chief.
