Manufacturing CEO Says He’s Investing $2 Billion in US Because of ‘Confidence in Trump’

Australian billionaire and manufacturing CEO Anthony Pratt said Friday on Fox Business that he is investing $2 billion in the United States because he has “confidence” in President Trump.

“We have enormous confidence in President Trump. He’s doing a wonderful job, and we think he will continue to do a great job,” Pratt said. “He’s reducing unemployment. As we saw today, the job figures show unemployment is the lowest it’s been for a decade, and he’s supporting manufacturing.”

“And that’s why we are doubling down on our investment in the United States, creating 7,000 high-paying manufacturing jobs, mainly in the Midwest,” Pratt added.  MORE

  1. The Oz PM Malcolm Turnbull was present when Mr. Pratt made this announcement at the 75th Coral Sea Anniversary Dinner. Mr. Trump gave Pratt a standing ovation. Turnbull? Not so much.

    Confidence in Australia as a solid investment bet is dead. I love my country but it’s become a lefty-greeny-snowflake sh*t-hole since John Howard left office. The lunatics are in charge of everything now.

    Malcolm’s just the latest in a conga-line of a-holes leading us into Europa-like oblivion. Boy, do we need a Trump revolution down here.
