Georgia: Jon Ossoff’s Attacks Boomerang on Him

Democrat Jon Ossoff really, really wants voters to know about travel expenses incurred by his Republican rival, former Georgia Secretary of State Karen Handel.

His campaign, and allies at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), have put up ads, planted stories, and generally bemoaned relatively minor costs incurred by her office from nearly a decade ago. Those costs, by the way, were determined to be “in line” with both her position and her predecessor’s expenses by Atlanta NBC affiliate 11Alive News.

What Ossoff is less eager to talk about is his own overseas trips while serving as a congressional aide. The Atlanta Journal Constitution has more:

  1. Even if Trump cant drain the swamp (he can) he has exposed the corruption and disgusting vomit of DC and politicians. He has awakend the sleeping giant.

  6. Unlike Ossoff, at least a pez dispenser is able to produce something of some value. He is still running a lot of ads locally, but nowhere near as many as he was in the primary. From what I understand most of his out of state campaign contributors see the writing on the wall that he’s a loser and are cutting their losses to some extent.

  11. You mean that Osoff didn’t to Guam and stand on the other side of the island from the military bases, jumping up and down? Sounds like ol’ Cynthia McKinney’s friend, ol’ Hank Johnson, didn’t get his money’s worth from that boy.

  16. Same thing’s gonna happen to Maxine Waters. Every day she’s out there talking about how Trump needs to get the ax even though he hasn’t done anything wrong. Maxine is one of the dirtiest criminals in Washington and has been for a long time. She is too stupid to realize that when she points at Trump, three fingers are pointing back at her.
