Maxine isn’t disposable; she’s safe. The 43rd is heavily Democrat and particularly in California urban areas, the Republican party is essentially dead. Waters would have to lose in a primary to lose her seat.
So Maxine’s pushing 79? What is it with the democratic party? Nancy Pelosi. Hank Johnson. Hillary. Bernie. Even Biden. The entire party has one foot in the grave.
My D.C. lifelong-Democrat friends are horrified by Maxine. They’re actually questioning WTH has happened to “their” Democratic Party.
Every time Maxine’s ugly mug appears on TV, squawking and screeching her Ebonics craziness, she turns another 10.000 Dems into Independents.
Maxine seems to have an especially toxic effect on older affluent Jews, the Donor types.
