Russians Snookered Comey Into Making Speech Letting Hillary Off The Hook.
One of the reasons James Comey made his infamous public pronouncement that Hillary Clinton was probably guilty but no prosecutor would charge her was a secret Russian document describing an email indicating that the Justice Dept. would not try to hard to win the case against Ms. Clinton. According to a Report in the Washington Post the document was not only unreliable but possibly a Russian ruse “according to people familiar with its contents.” If true it means that Comey was snookered by the Russians to help Hillary.
According the report, the FBI received a Russian document that mentioned an email between Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Leonard Benardo, an official at George Soros’ Open Society Foundation.
In the email described in the document, he email Debby downer told Benardo that “then-Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch had privately assured a senior Clinton campaign staffer named Amanda Renteria that the email investigation would not push too deeply into the matter. If true, the revelation of such an understanding would have undermined the integrity of the FBI’s investigation.”
Current and former officials have said that Comey relied on the document in making his July decision to announce on his own, without Justice Department involvement, that the investigation was over. That public announcement — in which he criticized Clinton and made extensive comments about the evidence — set in motion a chain of other FBI moves that Democrats now say helped Trump win the presidential election.
In other words, Comey saw the fake document and thought to himself no one else will ruin the integrity of the FBI, that’s MY job. MORE

People, you should watch one, I’m only asking for one episode of Rachel Madow show. Go behind enemy lines, see how she spoon feeds her snotty, sarcastic, editorializing to old ladies, the young, the middle aged, the people who don’t know what to think until Madow tells them what to think.
She is scaring old ladies. If you know an anyone who watches CNN, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC you must try and de-program then back to reality. People who are regularly spoon fed that crap become members of a cult, they need to be saved.

The choice to prosecute, or not, was never the FBI’s. The claim is that somebody “whispered in the FBI’s ear” that the DoJ, who do decide whether or not to prosecute, was already bought by the Clintons. If DoJ said “there was no evidence,” and evidence of DoJ’s corruption then came out, it would make the FBI look incompetent to investigate. So, the claim is that, Comey decided to dump what they had, proving their ability to at least Google, before leakers could make them look worse.
Oh, look, that also makes it look like Comey wasn’t already bought by the Clintons. Well, isn’t that convenient.
I’m sure the email was so triggering that Comey mentioned it in his copious, meticulous memos. What say, Jimmy?

Lynch clearly assured the Clintons they had a deal, which was already a given, at the secret tarmac meeting or before.
Comey had no real choice. Lynch being higher on the food chain, she scored the lion’s share of whatever baksheesh was paid/promised.
As a mere subordinate, Comey might not have liked his crumb-sized portion. The arrogant Clintons, already having Obama and Lynch, may have excluded Comey from the goodies altogether.
Comey’s curious inexplicable waffling about Clinton, and the abrupt last minute reopening of the investigation, was Comey’s bid at repositioning himself for better negotiating.
He overplayed his hand, and lost. All his protectors disappeared. His world turned upside down.
Now he’s stuck with the ridiculous Podesta-hatched Russian farce, with Perjury minefields all around him.
“Trump improperly coerced me” won’t fly either, although it will please the Dem Left to whom his usefulness is otherwise finished.

You might want to do a tad more research on Mr. Comey and The Clintons, before you write off this last election performance.
