  1. He’s also in legal trouble because twice he failed to register as a transient. Who can keep up with all the requirements of our social contract these days?

  2. Every Sunday, Mr. Kakalogical and I walk our dog, Ranger, to Carlson Dog Park, which is less than a mile from our home. Along the way we see various vagrants and transients. We’ve not seen this shining jewel of humanity.

  3. @Agatha: We must be neighbors. Mt. Rubidoux is practically in my backyard. The river bottom where all of these miscreants live is just around the bend from my house. A beautiful neighborhood full of old Craftsman houses, but surrounded by degenerates. And liberals. But I repeat myself.

  4. @Anonymous, I see Mt. Rubidoux from my front yard. I’m on Mission Inn Ave in a 100+ year old house. I have probably walked past your house because I love walking around this neighborhood. But, I do take the husband and the dog and a big stick. You never know who you will happen upon.

  5. @Agatha: We ARE neighbors. I live right off of Redwood Drive. I have probably seen you walk past my house. My dog barks at everyone who walks by and I peer through the window like Gladys Kravitz to see what they are barking at. You must have a good view of the 4th of July fireworks from your house.

  6. @Anonymous-Hi neighbor. I do the same when my dog barks. We’ve got Ranger, a red heeler. If you see us, say hi. We are mostly friendly!
4th of July is great. We sit in our back yard and watch the fireworks.
Good to know at least one of my neighbors is an IOTW reader! I was discouraged by all the Hillary signs along Redwood last year. I did get a chuckle out of the Bernie ones though.

  7. @Agatha: We are definitely in enemy territory here. I used to fly the Gadsen flag. Sometimes l fly an Israeli flag. You know, just to make liberal heads explode. But, there are probably more of us than you would think. The guy next door actually had a Trump yard sign during the election. I have also heard him listening to Rush Limbaugh on the radio. Conservatives in our neighborhood probably find it easier to not broadcast their political leanings so as to not trigger the lefties who have no qualms about confronting those with whom they disagree.

I will keep an eye out for you and your dog. I don’t walk my dogs as often or as far as I used to. They are getting a bit old. I have a Maltipoo (the one who barks) and a Chihuahua who is a big sweetheart. Keep an eye out for us. And also for the coyotes who wander up from the river bottom, though the two legged critters are much more dangerous than the 4 legged ones.

  8. @Anonymous, we have our Gadsen flag out right now! Our neighbor has “An Appeal to Heaven” flag. I see the occasional Israeli flag out. There is an apartment on the curve between Redwood and University that has a Stand With Israel sign in the window. I still feel behind enemy lines in CA.

I will keep an eye out for you as well! We’ve seen our share of coyotes, skunks, and raccoons. You are right though, it is the two-legged vermin we watch out for!

Take care & hope to see you around!
