Tammy Bruce:

I bet I could get into Yale Law School by submitting my cheesecake recipe.

It’s really good.

The dreaded personal statement and/or college statement often include questions like, “Where do you hope to see yourself in 10 years?” and “What personal experiences helped shape who you are?”

Instead of adding extra pressure to an already anxiety-producing process, Carolina Williams chose to write about what she loves: ordering pizza from Papa John’s.

  1. I wrote about substantive matters in my personal statements to the fancy schools I applied to. I guess that’s why I didn’t get in to any of the yacht club academies.

  2. Please accept my application to your fine and world renowned university. My heroes are Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, both of whom were enrolled at distinguished institutions of higher learning prior to launching fabulously lucrative careers that have delivered world changing technology.

Following their examples, I would like to be accepted to your university, then promptly drop out to do something productive with my life, just as my mentors did.

    Thank you for your consideration.

  3. after 4 years of dealing with graduates of a major university who cannot do simple math, work in an office but do not know what the word collate means, work in the food industry but cannot figure out the difference between vegan and gluten free and nut free and after seeing undergrads trying to open doors at the hinges, this seems a step up intellectually.

  4. A young woman made it all the way to a personal interview for the top scholarship to a very prestigious university. She was asked who is her role model. She answered, her mother. She most likeky should have said Hilliary because she didn’t get that particular scholarship.

  5. Ziad Ahmed received an acceptance letter from Stanford after typing “Black Lives Matter” 100 times on application.

Carolina Williams gets into Yale by writing about pizza.

I can’t wait to see what completes the trifecta.

  6. Donde esta la essay ese?
I will occasionally order at Papa John’s when I go on road trips. Their pizza is the best because they use more expensive sauce than other pizza chains.

  7. She sounds like the type of person that if placed in a small padded room with nothing but two steel ballbearings inside of ten minutes she would have lost one and broke the other.

  8. When you look at the examples of successful essays that some students submit, you understand that really anything will do. You just have to be original. You could have huge love for pizza and the whole world but your essays will never be fully read unless you have extraordinary writing skills to apply with. I think that for those people who have Yale studying in their dreams have to consult with the Best Of Writers in order to read reviews of the writers and what services they offer.
