AJC: Jon Ossoff was a political newcomer entering the crowded race to succeed Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price as Georgia’s 6th District Congressman but attracted some high profile support.
Alyssa Milano and Christopher Gorham, who were in Atlanta filming a new CW project, took time out to campaign for him, even driving voters to the polls during the early-voting period that preceded the first election night.
They kept up their support leading up to Tuesday’s runoff, with Milano encouraging people to call for help if needed and Gorham posting images of Ossoff merch.
