A plea for Republican unity – IOTW Report

A plea for Republican unity

AT:

The lead story in the New York Times, June 30, reported that President Trump drew “condemnation from his fellow Republicans” for rebuking Mika Brzezinski for her anti-Trump rants.

There the the Republicans go again, ready to join the left in denouncing Donald J. Trump for daring to defend himself against attack. Is it any wonder that the country has yet to get legislation on health insurance that does not ravage the middle class — and health care —  in the U.S.?  The  Republicans who will not defend President Trump against personal, ad hominem attacks, are the same Republicans who cower in the face of leftist demagoguery, generally.   All it takes is a Democrat or two to say Republican action on health insurance will kill people, and Republicans cower and  defer to the de facto Socialists.

Concerning the president, the pattern has long been apparent:  he gets viciously attacked by his enemies;  he exercises what, at the UN, is called “right of reply” and Republicans denounce him — not the accuser — to the great joy and amusement of leftists, who are encouraged to believe that they can control government while lacking congressional majorities — and with a Republican in the White House. How is this possible?  Republicans would rather twitch — than fight.

Consider:  why is there a special counsel looking at an investigation concerning  “collusion with Russia”? Because Republicans are afraid of their shadow, that’s why.  Chuck  — either Schumer or Todd, same difference — says “boo” and Republicans cringe and cower — to the exasperation and consternation and embarrassment of voters who were naive to believe congressional Republicans would join with President Trump in his program to “make America great again.”

  1. Republicans today are not the ones who stood up to the dems and the kkk. They were called the nigger party by the democrats. The democrats are the same disgusting animals they’ve always been but the republicans have lost their balls somewhere along the line. I’m embarrassed to say I vote for these pussies but don’t have much choice. Atleast PDJT fights and he will prevail!

  2. The typical elected republican now is such a fucking dipshit pussy. Trump is the only one who seems to grasp that it doesn’t matter how rational, polite, and bipartisan you want to be, the fucking democrats are going to call you a nazi, xenophobic, racist, sexist, islamophobic homophobe every fucking chance they get. They’re gonna say you have a small dick, that your wife is a pig, your daughter is a whore, and your son is a fag. And they’ll be cheered on and aided by the press. And they’ll keep doing it to you until you punch back. Clueless weenies like cRyan, McVain, Gayharam, and Romney are just never going to figure out that it’s a street brawl. And in a street brawl, you back your own colors when the shit hits the fan, or you will be considered a faggot piece of shit by the electorate, plain and simple. I have tons more respect for those assholes Reid and Pelosi who stood up on Capitol Hill and made total fools of themselves to defend that asshole Obama, simply because he was in their party than I have for these fucktards constantly chiding Trump for just, for once from a Republican, dishing out just 1/100th of the crap that he has to take from those fucking democrats. Jesus Christ… Get a clue GOP. Wake the fuck up.

  3. The republicans don’t understand they are only where they are today by virtue of the TEA Party and Donald Trump….

    Two entities they apparently despise

  4. Many of them are either bought off, morally compromised and blackmailed on video, or are closet Leftists.

Simpler explanation is, they just prefer things as they are.

  5. I’d love it if Trump would have all the Dem and Rino desks in the House torn out. Re-use the wood to build 500 connected gallows in a ring around the Capitol.

  6. Big money from PACs, special interest groups and the House Campaign committee puts congressmen in their representative seat.
The house Campaign Committee is funded by the same PACs and special interest groups.
When candidates become Representatives, their focus is staying where they are (elections every two years). To stay they must kowtow to those who put them there to gain funding for the next election. Whatever it takes to get re-elected. They are Bought and Paid For and they stay bought.

  7. 2018: continue working against the Dem wing of the Uniparty.
In GOP Primarirs, upport non-Uniparty challengers to RINO/Uniparty Republican officeholders. At all levels.

Via ballot, email, town hall and donation, send them One Loud Demand: Get the Hell On The Trump Train 100% Or Get The Hell Out.

    MAGA. No truce, no prisoners.

  8. Now’s the time for the Tea Party to organize and fully become the third party that the majority of Americans will vote for, and thus dispose of the Uniparty.

Without Obola’s IRS hindering them, and with both Demo-rats and Republicants exposing themselves fully on healthcare, the Tea Party should win easily in any race they enter.
