Leftists Freak Out over William Shatner Criticizing Social Justice Warriors on Twitter

William Shatner, the actor best known for his role as Captain Kirk on Star Trek, expressed his distaste for social justice warriors and was promptly attacked by SJWs on Twitter and in the media.

Shatner took to Twitter recently to express his distaste over modern day social justice warriors comparing themselves to the social reform movements of the 1960s, which focused on causes such as racial equality and equal pay. Shatner, who took part in one of the earliest interracial kisses ever broadcast on American TV in Star Trek, tweeted, “Why is it that SJW’s think they can align themselves with those that demanded social reform in the 60’s?”

  7. Mr. Shatner spends much of his time in Kentucky. He is an excellent horseman and has won many amateur competitions. There is more to him than meets the eye and Kentucky does not suffer liberal fools.

  11. Trivia: Bill knew what he was doing with that interracial kiss. He blew take after take and only when they were down to the wire time wise did he give them the kiss that went to air. A full on the mouth bodies clenched. The actors knew if upper management had different takes to use the ‘less-in-your-face” take would have been the take used.

    I heard that from Nichelle Nichols aka Uhura via commentary of that scene. Just an FYI but Veitvet was 100% on the money that Startrek did more than all the SJW combined in however they have been around or will be around.

    Uhura’s character earned her rank on the Bridge.
    Accomplished, intelligent, cool under pressure, brave in the face of The Unknown.

    No participation prizes or affirmative action in Roddenberry’s Star Fleet.

  14. As the Star Trek actors aged they all came out of the woodwork hating on Shatner. Nimoy, Nichols and Takei were the most vocal (Spock, Uhura and Flaming Sulu). Takei and Nichols were the worst, even participating in a Celebrity Roast that seemed to be more about cruel payback than entertaining banter.

    Now I know why: Nimoy, Nichols and Takei are (were) liberal progressives.

  19. Those of us whos BS predates 65 know that Bill’s nonLeftist opinions made him very unpopular with the rest of the cast on his 1st big TV show. He is still not liberal. I did not say he’s conservative!
