NTK: Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley will be launching an exploratory committee this week, taking the first step in challenging Democratic incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) who is up for reelection in 2018.
Hawley is a political newcomer who won his first election in November, but that didn’t stop top Republicans, including Vice President Mike Pence, to call on Hawley to run against McCaskill.

Don’t know much about him, but he did argue the Hobby Lobby case successfully.
And he has the good looks and good hair that is, unfortunately, a factor.

I live in MO, and like Hawley fine, but I’m not sure about the wisdom of running a guy who JUST got elected into his position into a new one. What about doing the job you were voted in for, first?

I like Hawley’s stated positions.
As I said earlier, I’d vote for a run-over armadillo before I’d vote for McCaskill, and that was NO joke.
I voted for Hawley in November, and I’ll support him against McCaskill.
