Loretta Lynch is “Elizabeth Carlisle” – IOTW Report

Loretta Lynch is “Elizabeth Carlisle”

DC: Like her predecessor, Eric Holder, former Attorney General Loretta Lynch used an email alias to conduct government business, The Daily Caller has confirmed.

Several of Lynch’s emails were included in 413 pages of DOJ documents provided to the conservative groups Judicial Watch and the American Center for Law and Justice. Both groups had filed lawsuits for records regarding Lynch’s controversial meeting with President Bill Clinton at the Phoenix airport last June 27.

Using the pseudonym “Elizabeth Carlisle,” Lynch corresponded with DOJ press officials to hammer out talking points in response to media requests about the meeting. The tarmac encounter drew criticism from conservatives because Lynch was overseeing the federal investigation into whether Hillary Clinton mishandled classified information on her private email system.

The meeting was revealed not by Lynch, Clinton or the Justice Department, but by a reporter in Phoenix working based on a tip

  1. If the Jeff (speak softly, and carry no stick) Sessions, DOJ does not go after these people like mad dog with rabies I’ll be fit to be tied! Every new story we we see pisses me off a little more!

  2. She told Trey Gowdy under oath she only uses official email – so now official email can be alias email addresses? So she didn’t perjury herself? Where does the duplicity with these people ever start let alone end.

  3. There is a comment line at the AG’s office: 202-353-1555
The voice greeting will also give you the address for AG Sessions’ office. You can also contact the main switch board if you wish to speak personally to the AG, Deputy, et al.

The cynics among us may think these calls go nowhere and are heard by no one. That’s not true. They are important if for no other reason than they register your concerns, alarm, disappointment, frustration, anger and the call log is sent to the AG and his departments. So please make your calls.

I called both Lindsay Graham’s office (to tell him we were going to do everything in our power to oust him if he didn’t start supporting the President’s agenda) and the AG to tell him that Trump’s base is impatient with reading these things about Lynch, et at, and hearing nothing from the AG’s office. Please call. It’s worth the effort.

  4. A little off topic: Breitbart is running a piece by D’Souza from The Big Lie. So important that we fight back against the Deep Staters, the Left, media and Leftards in academe. Don’t sit and grumble or type out zingers about what’s going on. Please call/write/tweet/etc. as often as you can to the people in our gov’t who should be doing something about these things. If you are concerned let it be known. In other words, actually join the side you’re on.

    thanks!

  5. Last year I kept saying “I can see Venezuela from my house!”
Now we’re beginning to see just how close we were actually getting with this crowd of far Left subversives!!
Thank God Trump won by a mile to beat all the fraud!

  6. I remember the line from The Prince that goes:
“Never do an enemy a small injury” which has been reworded over the years to:
“When you strike (at) a king you must kill him” or words to that effect.
I’m still hoping that Sessions is working hard with a limited number of trusted aides and investigators to ensure that when he either issues arrest warrents for the senior dems or empanels a grand jury that he has such an airtight case that there is no way a jury “OJ’s” him and that those arrested are in no position (and their supporters are too cowed to do a damn thing) to strike back. Hey, I can dream can’t I.

  7. @The Rat Fink — Not to single you out, dear friend, but your comment made me think of it.

We are barely past the coin toss in this (I hope) eight year-long battle for the soul of our nation. I wouldn’t blame Trump if he gave up and went home if he knew the people who put him in the arena all left for the snack bar to get popcorn and congratulate themselves for “winning.” He’s just the team captain in this battle. We all have to do our parts to crash the Left’s party. And I mean really crash it! If you have an opportunity to do something materially to help, please take it.

  8. I’ve heard the same thing from a lot of people who feel that a complete crash is the only way to rip the bureaucracy, the lawyers, the dependency and especially the entitlements out by the roots… and I don’t really argue with them except that it would spell success to the Cloward-Piven types who are trying to bring America down. For them tho, there’s a civil war coming that they are going to be on the sorry side of.
I don’t see Donald Trump as a quitter tho. I believe he would have quit by now if he was. I think he enjoys the scrap (that should be his next book: The Art of the Scrap) and almost every week he winds up with a W in the Win column.
Keep in mind he is a builder.
    Make America Great Again!

  9. How many obama smoking guns need to be exposed.

There is nothing so clear to those of us outside of the swamp, than the firm knowledge that all of congress, the DOJ, and etc. are all in the same swamp buggy.

Still waiting, President Trump. Start the dredges. Fire Mueller, Rosenstein, and McMaster. We’re waiting for the Trump ‘FIRE’.

Follow the obama example, just do it, set it in motion and let the fighting begin. Obama was a master at it. Remember his cocky, “I have a “phone and a pen.”
