GOP Rep. Dana Rohrabacher Meets With Julian Assange, Receives ‘Earth-Shattering’ Information

Breitbart: Republican California Representative Dana Rohrabacher met with WikiLeaks Founder Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London this week.

According to Rohrabacher, Assange “reaffirmed his aggressive denial that the Russians had anything to do with the hacking of the DNC during the election,” in the meeting, adding, “He has given us a lot of information. He said there’s more to come. We don’t have the entire picture yet.”

Rohrabacher further claimed that the information he received would have “an earth-shattering political impact.”

  1. An Earth-shattering political impact that will barely register as a grass blade blowing in the breeze to the Liberal Media since it will no doubt involve Democrats and their unethical, immoral and probably illegal dealings.

  2. “Rohrabacher further claimed that the information he received would have “an earth-shattering political impact.”

Okay, got my parachute on let’s have this earth shattering information!

  3. CNN is already in cover-up and ignore mode just in case it involves Democrats. They are clearly worried about it; if another Malaysian airliner doesn’t disappear and provide a distraction, Wolf Blitzer is prepared to bring one down himself.

  4. If there is one thing Republicans are great about it’s managing expectations.

Repealing Obamacare. Tax reform. Benghazi hearings. Clinton’s servers. Earth shattering kabooms of Wikileaks shifting the tectonics of the world we once knew.

Yawn. Send somebody to jail or STFU.

  5. This is why all the racial division is being ratcheted up. They are trying divert us and stop Trump before the public can find out what the politicians have really been doing. Scary.

  6. Then why the hell doesn’t he release it? I’m getting tired of hearing him say he has information that will bring down the whole Democrat party but then does nothing to back it up. Can anybody enlighten me as to what his strategy is here? In all honesty I haven’t read the article yet but am going there now.

  7. Boy oh boy, we got a lotta cynics here today!
I agree, don’t “telegraph'” just be quiet and DO it (whether right now or whenever most appropriate leverage-wise). Cliche is right: manage expectations by exceeding them in action.

I’m patient, but I suspect this will have a significant impact, as much as the Dems/LeftMedia will try to deflect with new shiny penny distractions. After all, it’s easy to point out that THEY made the RussiaRussiaRussia thing a big deal.

  8. maybe waiting for the the ‘prog/dems/socialist/antifa/blm’ to slip on their slobber so he can get their attention—of course he will have only a moment or to to attack, as the infantile attention span will quickly start slobbering about something else.

  9. From reading another account of this reported by the Washington Examiner — though terribly biased — this is looking more and more like Al Capone’s vault. Doesn’t it seem like real news is something that just happens, not a staged event that occurs in “many steps”? How many more of these “explosive” media events must we suffer through for Pete’s sake?

  10. Making this announcement ahead of release may be an insurance policy of sorts. Surely the elite masters know of the meeting, and can surmise their butts will be swinging once info comes out.

Furthermore, I’d seal the deal with the President to be pardoned prior to releasing the info to the public to eliminate side show press debate on worthiness for pardoning. My guess is Don and Jeff already are in posession of the info.

Or it just be another sting to make more snakes scurry.

  11. We just don’t get it yet. Republicans have “earth shattering” news about Democrats. Big deal, you think they care? They control the media, the social media and therefore the narrative.

It’s like saying the British had “earth shattering” news about Nazi Germany. You think the Germans cared?

I predict no effect, no impact and just more talk.

  12. Julian Assange has always asserted, and facts seem to agree, that he is a journalist. He vets information as best he can, and presents the information – including how reliable or dodgy it may be – to the public. That way the public can make better informed decisions about their own lives, as well as the lives they hope to leave for those born after them. He sought asylum from political persecution signed by Sweden, that can most kindly be described as “regret rape”. The timing and facts make it look more like a Five Eyes bought smear campaign – no different in veracity nor players than the “Trump and a pair of incontinent Russian hookers” “crime”. Right now, there is not even an indictment of any crime more than “He snitched on us!”. A blanket pardon for all past “crimes” in The United States, means a pardon for no crimes in The United States. There is no public “good will” to lose on that. Extension of political asylum in The United States – and all it’s territories – to a target of Sweden’s love of rape, would cause rape fanatics to find a fresh target for their unquenchable hate. But it won’t actually increase their outpouring of hatred. Unless the rape shakedown mafia really is that powerful, what’s the delay? Other than the hate spew of the rape shakedown mafia there is nothing to lose. And even with sources kept anonymous – even after they’re neither confirmed nor denied dead – there is clearly much to gain. Knowledge of past activities is a start. Renewed future activity is a bonus. Unless renewed future activity, actually, is the loss.

  13. The Congressman is talking about facts, Dhimmi’s don’t deal with facts in their self constructed fantasy land. This will be another Russian attempt to disrupt their misinformation.
The AG could stop this waste of taxpayer money, buy he recused himself, isn’t that just dandy.

  14. When he finally releases info confirming it was not a russian hack, i’m just wondering if the media or the republicans in congress will be madder.

  15. I hpoe its something actionable by the Dept of Justice. I’m thinking its to do with Seth Rich. If Trump brings it to the public attention, they’ll have to persue it.
