    Jose Ole burritos, and not the breakfast ones.

    Home made refried bean burritos with cheddar and a teaspoon of Tostitos salsa is my second favorite.

    The best breakfast is arroz caldo, but that has too be fresh.

  2. Start with a graham cracker, place a layer of sardines on top, add a generous dollop of whipped cream and top with star anise, its fantastic.

    Even a pack of instant oatmeal with chopped walnuts is more appetizing than any of that.

    Everything prepared in that tutorial looked like something a basement dweller would “cook” up to impress that chick he brought home that weekend when his parents went out of town.

  4. Mr. Etymology Person here. The word breakfast refers to the first meal of the day after an overnight fast, or abstention from eating food. Ending the fast is referred to as the breaking of the fast. So, the fast in breakfast has nothing to do with speed. As distinct from a fast break. (-:

  5. Actually, I do my eggs in a cup fairly often. I don’t make an omelet out of it and I stopped using anything to coat the surface first.

    What I get is a water-less poached egg I can put on my toast.

    Lazy? or really efficient at not dirtying cookware? Both?
