If the former Presidents “requests” a budget for 8,000 sq. ft. of Office space, what’s it used for? Do they actually use it? How frequently? Who uses it, Staff? For what? Personal scheduling and personal travel for the former president? Secretaries for correspondence? Who administers the budget?
Who in Congress over-sees the expenditures?
Congress should look at the requests for their budgets with a fine tooth comb, any services provided for “personal” use or over-staffing should be eliminated. Or are they royalty after-all?
Well, nothing will change unless we change it. If I start a petition at wh.gov, will you guys sign it and do the work of getting others to sign it?
There is no way on God’s green earth that multi-million dollar ex-presidents, their wives, children, etc. should be getting excessive perks they can pay for themselves. It is another way elected officials make crime pay. They aren’t entitled just because they voted it for themselves.
