Eric Bolling out, Charles Payne returns to Fox Business

LAT:

Sexual harassment investigations at Fox News had on-air hosts coming and going on Friday.

The network has cut loose Eric Bolling, who was suspended on Aug. 5, and has also canceled his daily program “Fox News Specialists.”

The law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, investigated allegations that Bolling used his cellphone to send unsolicited photos of male genitalia to current and former female colleagues at the network. The firm has been handling harassment claims at the 21st Century Fox unit.

“Fox News Channel is canceling the ‘Specialists,’ and Eric Bolling and Fox have agreed to part ways amicably,” a Fox News spokesperson said in a statement. “We thank Eric for his 10 years of service to our loyal viewers and wish him the best of luck.”

Earlier Friday, Fox News confirmed that Fox Business host Charles Payne is returning to his job at the network after he was cleared in an internal investigation of sexual harassment claims lodged by a female political analyst who was a frequent guest on his program.

A Fox News representative confirmed that the company’s review of the allegations against Payne has been completed and that he would return to his nightly program “Making Money” on Friday night.

Bolling’s program, “Fox News Specialists” was to have its final airing Friday. His co-hosts, Kat Timpf and Eboni Williams, will remain with Fox News as contributors. An hourlong newscast will fill the 5 p.m. Eastern hour starting Monday.  more

  1. Eric Bolling is the least of our problems. I just finished reading “Drain The Swamp” by Congressman Ken Buck R. Colorado.
    Regnery Publishing.
If Rep. Buck is right, we are in deep shit.. The House of Representatives and the Senate are whore houses.
    Please read this book.

  2. …I wonder how many anchors at CNN, MSNBC, CBS, or ABC have done just as bad if not far far worse??? I’d wager MOST. The only difference is that they’re protected, and the anchors on Fox are not. Wouldn’t it be interesting to see what kind of sick shit Anderson Cooper or Rachel Maddow have been up to?

  3. I won’t miss The Specialists, but I will miss Eric Bolling and I think he got a raw deal from Fox. With the Murdoch boys running the network, the conservatives will be weeded out, one by one, I fear.

  4. I’ve smelled a rat(s) since the very beginning of this miserable episode. Bolling struck me as being a straight shooter. Why would he stupidly do what was claimed, especially with his star on the rise at Fox and a possible Congressional run? Could he be that much of an idiot to do what was claimed? I don’t buy it. Sounds too much like a frame-up. I’m also with Aunt Liz on this one.

  5. I like to think that I have good ‘spidey senses’ and I never got anything bad from Eric.
I trust my instincts over the Murdoch’s any day. I think it’s a bum rap.

  6. Don’t buy this bag of doo-doo. Eric is a fall guy. Rarely watch FN for almost 10 yrs now but still tune into Fox Business on occasion. So far, the Murdoch boys and their Communist wives haven’t bothered FB. Fake News has forced all of us to look for truth online.

  7. Don’t really like the Five much, but they should bring it back to the 5 o’clock hour less Juan. Like Greg, Kimberly and Watters. Oh WTF bring back Beckel for cringe factor…

This anonymous is not Moe Tom!

  8. Believe Moe Tom. He’s for real, not a robot. He is wondering how his friends in Port St. Lucie and Ocala are doing this morning?
I haven’t heard from them in over a week. Please God all is well with them.
