Dude, That Was Five Years Ago: Back to Benghazi

CFP:

How many remember that interview with Bret Baier when Tommy Vietor, former White House Security Council spokesperson, said when speaking about the Incident at Benghazi, “Dude…this was two years ago?”

Later, the Hill, in an attempt to dismiss the audacity of Veitor’s remark, wrote, “He later said his comment was not intended to be dismissive of the attacks in Benghazi, where four Americans—including U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens—lost their lives.”

It’s now 2017, and dude, most of the US Congress has been dismissive of the loss of life at Benghazi.

The problem with the Congressional investigations into the Incident at Benghazi is that they keep going around in circles. There have been multiple Congressional investigations into the Incident at Benghazi, yet we do not know the answers to three fundamental questions any police detective would ask about a murder.

It’s the same problem with many editors. They are reluctant to run stories about what happened at Benghazi because there is nothing new to add. But there is nothing new to add because reporters do not want to answer the old questions that should have been asked from the beginning about any murder. How did the victim die? Who killed him? What was the motive?

Can anyone who reads Canada Free Press, American Thinker or the New York Times go to their member of Congress and get straight answers to any of these questions?

Dude, that was five years ago!

Treat terrorism as a crime

“Handling terrorism suspects in the criminal justice system is standard legal procedure; there is nothing radical or extraordinary about it,” writes Anthony D. Romero.

If the above argument is what members of Congress believe, then why don’t they do what they believe: Treat the Incident at Benghazi as a crime and begin answering the three fundamental questions asked in any criminal investigation?

  1. congress is complicit with the obama/hillary crimes. they are all compromised or they are primaried out or redistricted out.

people keep saying how Gowdy will get to the bottom of this, well what has he done. SQUAT. He has done nothing but talk a good game to keep the conservatives quiet. And it is working, there is no will on the GOP’s side to work with Trump or fulfil their obligations to the electorate. From Benghazi to gun running to the theft of land from Bundy’s and others to obamacare. (Gowdy was doing the gun running hearings and the Benghazi hearings)

keep you head down and keep prepping, the GOP aren’t going to save you and they wont let Trump save you either.

  2. This leaves out the two most troublesome questions for me.

What was CIA and the embassy doing in Libya, a leaderless muzzie hellhole?

Why did our government offer no response or rescue effort once the shit hit the fan?

The questions about motive are easy. They go back to Thomas Jefferson and before. Shores of Tripoli, anyone? Founding of the United States Marine Corps.

  3. The Conservative Treehouse has well researched answers to all the questions in their Benghazi Brief.

The reason Gowdy et al will NEVER let the truth come out is because as General Malaise said above – leadership of Congress was complicit. The Gang of 8 was read in. They agreed to ship arms via the port of Benghazi through Turkey to ISIS – paid by Qatar.

Just another reason the deep state doesn’t want Trump – who they don’t own – giving the American public a peek behind the curtain.

  4. Publish the US Consulate & CIA outpost exterior tapes and the video footage of the two drones. No doubt long gone by now but don’t expect the public to believe they didn’t exist at the time.
    Gowdy is a joke.

  5. Congress doesn’t give a crap. Neither does the DOJ. They only have hearings to impress the masses, (their version of gladiator games) they don’t really expect to prosecute anyone.

They’re a tight knit klan in DC, they may pretend to be rivals, but they’re all for one, and against we the people.

I don’t expect them to do a damn thing, about any of it.
