ICE Promises Raids of Homes, Businesses in Sanctuary California

Breitbart: The head of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) says the agency will begin carrying out immigration raids in local neighborhoods and workplaces after California became a sanctuary state.

“ICE will have no choice but to conduct at-large arrests in local neighborhoods and at worksites, which will inevitably result in additional collateral arrests, instead of focusing on arrests at jails and prisons where transfers are safer for ICE officers and the community,” acting ICE Director Tom Homan wrote in a statement obtained by Breitbart Texas. “ICE will also likely have to detain individuals arrested in California in detention facilities outside of the state, far from any family they may have in California.”  read more

  1. Praying for the safety and success of our ICE Agents as they penetrate enemy territory. Be very careful caliphornia. You’ll get no quarter from the rest of the country.

  2. I haven’t checked our official crime statistics. I probably wouldn’t believe them anyway. But crime is up. Way up and the wrong kind of crimes. Our county Sheriffs know it’s up.

  3. “I wonder how long before a local
cop takes a shot at an ICE agent
    doing his job”

You do not have a clear picture of what’s going on. The majority of LE are totally against the Sanctuary bull shit. Stop and think about it, these illegals represent a big chunk of the people that shoot at them.

  4. See something, say something? OK.
That Jerry Brown dumbass. You know, the guy that should be Chief Executive of the State of California? Yeah him. He’s as contrary to the Law as one could be. Start with him.

  5. I hope the feds start strictly imposing fines on those in CA harboring and hiring illegal aliens. In addition, the IRS could do sometfing FOR Americans and audit the hell out of those companies’ books.

What Are the Penalties for Hiring an Illegal Immigrant?
Hiring illegal immigrants can lead to many severe penalties, such as:

    Criminal and civil fines
    Loss of business licenses

Most fines are broken down to the following:

First offenders can be fined $250-$2,000 per illegal employee.
For a second offense, the fine is $2,000-$5,000 per illegal employee.
Three or more offenses can cost an employer $3000-$10,000 per illegal employee. A pattern of knowingly employing illegal immigrants can mean extra fines and up to six months in jail for an employer.

This does not include “harboring” illegal immigrants, or employing ten or more illegal immigrants in one year. Harboring an illegal immigrant can lead to ten years of prison time.

Additionally, employers should be aware of the Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. Employers can be sued under the act for hiring illegal immigrants, and can face large settlement deals.
