  1. OK, I don’t like the guy BUT. Exactly WHAT is he being accused of? Is he grabbing these women, or threatening their careers if they don’t hoist their rears? I read where one said he made a pass when she was only 17 which is obviously criminal.

BUT, is simply asking a woman if she would have sex with you really a crime now? If so I don’t hold out a lot of hope for getting the birth rate back up.

  2. Weinstein’s List of Accusers Tops Bill Clinton’s.

I doubt that. The women who accused Clinton were tarred, feathered and dragged through the mud by Hillary, Attorneys and the media. Pretty well told the others to keep it to themselves.

Weinstein’s accusers are coming out of the woodwork decades later for the PR. In Hollyweird, any PR is good PR.
No one wants to be left out.

  3. @JustAl There are many accusations that could be considered sexual assault or lewd conduct at the least then there are the actually rape allegations.

There are 8 reported settlement cases already on the books

So he’s as least as big a pervert as the former president.

  4. This isn’t just asking a girl for some sack time it’s deeper then that. Weinstein was in a position of power and/or authority over these women when he exposed himself or demanded/asked for sex in exchange for a movie part or other considerations. The implication was clear, either they came across or no career for them and his position was one that could ruin any incipient career they had. In fact, if they were actually employed by him he could run afoul of a number of labour and criminal laws that could have him in a jail cell rather then fleeing to Europe and writing cheques.

  5. it’s getting totally asinine now. Why are they now coming out of the woodwork , 20-30 years later? Just like the Bill Cosby accusers …. these people smell a class-action suit, Weinstein has deep pockets, and they want in on the pay-out.

  6. Anyway, when it is all said and done he’ll return to being a Producer, and he’ll remember the people who didn’t pile on.

Carter, he’s going to do any future producing in some European country without an extradition treaty. And he’s going to try to beat Charlie Chaplin and Roman Polanski’s record for time avoiding prosecution.
