Christ Church in Alexandria, Virginia will take down a memorial marking the pew where Washington sat with his family, saying it is not acceptable to all worshipers.

That church is run by all wymmins. They have three black guys who are custodians, for the bean counters, and they have two guys in charge of children’s and youth ministries that I wouldn’t let within ten feet of a child. SJW score: perfect.
Overall, it’s a rot that has to be addressed.

I will for one boycott any and every place that resorts to SJW syndrome. It is not acceptable to all Patriots.

They cater to the whims of ‘visitors’ and ignore the traditions of the faithful. The ‘visitors’ won’t return, regardless, and the faithful will leave. I did. 6th or 7th generation episcopalian here, but I left.

If you visit their webpage, it is all about Washington. Everywhere. And then they do this. They certainly don’t seem to have any problem asking for, and accepting, pieces of metal and paper with Washington’s image on it. If they are going to play politics, they should then lose their tax exemption.
The thing that pushed me away was when the anglican church in the UK had a muslim read an anti-christian passage, in arabic, in a Scottish cathedral, during a muslim service.

Old Fork Church, circa 1722, is just up the road. Episcopal.
All of my neighbors attend and urged us to join. After meeting the lesbian pastor I declined.
Plus. I’m just not a joiner by nature. But I was raised in a very strict and fundamentalist church.
Touchy feely emotionalism ain’t my cup of tea. Selecting which of the 10 commandments suits your miserable life is a nonstarter for me.
Solution to those offended; worship elsewhere. Easy peasy. The plaque was there long before whiney babies appeared.
This church is on the National Landmark registry and I’m pretty sure what they’re doing is illegal.
