Armed with cakes, flowers, and signs proclaiming “we are not criminals,” an angry migrant mob suddenly turned against a Danish immigration official after she refused to speak with them on a recent visit to a deportation center.
With the help of police and security forces, as well as a very dedicated driver, the Danish Minister Inger Støjberg managed to flee the scene on the island of North Zealand filled with rejected “asylum” seekers.
Danish Minister for Immigration, Integration and Housing Inger Støjberg was visiting the Sjælsmark deportation center on the island of North Zealand for a photo op on Friday.
Danish broadcaster DR reports the photo op did not go as planned for the minister as a group of failed asylum seekers became angry that they were not given enough attention.
Around 40 angry migrants, all of whom were awaiting deportation, confronted Støjberg as she attempted to leave the center.
“When we came outside after the visit, the atmosphere started getting aggressive. Residents started gathering around Støjberg,” Martin Torpe a journalist that witnessed the incident, said as cited by DR.
For a change the right person has the bullseye on him and gets a taste of what his policies bring to his countrymen.
