We don’t put tinsel on the trees anymore, haven’t for years, it comes off while we are asleep.

We used to have a tall artificial Christmas tree. Our cat used to hide in the branches at head height and just lay there, looking around.

The cats have their own artificial tree to climb and sleep under. Now they seldom bother ours.
No, no tinsel anymore on the tree. When the cats get mad at us, they drag our socks in the litter pan. Ewwww.
Temptations = kitty crack. No more trees for the crazy cat woman and man. It was ok when we had senior cats but now that there are some youngsters we can’t do it.
I knew garland was a no no when one short price disappeared from the tree and later turned up, somewhat greasier, in the cat pan.
Best to not have tinsel if you have pets – the garland kind is OK.
