Weak 14: NFL Stadiums Look Like Ghost Towns As Attendance Crisis Continues

Breitbart: The plague of empty seats which has befallen the National Football League reached biblical proportions this week, as teams continued to find it hard to fill stadiums.

Naturally, a large number of players also continued their anti-American protests during the playing of the national anthem as Week 14 rolled into stadiums everywhere. And as a result, ticket prices are plummeting.

The league is having such a tough time finding fans to fill seats that some tickets are selling for the unheard of price of three dollars a seat, Breitbart Sports reported on Sunday. In many cases tickets are selling for prices lower than the cost of buying a beer or a hot dog in most stadiums!

But even at these near give-away prices, photos of empty stadiums are still chocking social media as the league’s Week 14 begins.

While the Green Bay Packers downed the Cleveland Browns in a 27-21 final, not many fans were around to see the loss at FirstEnergy Stadium. A sea of empty bright orange seats filled the stadium:

  1. Did they have Obama draw up their Redistribution Ransom ?
The Owners have now lost All of their Leverage with the Cities,
so how did they lose so badly ? These are Vegas Odds kinda guy’s.
What am I missing, the Owners Hate to Lose at the Game Money !!!

  2. The knee takers will be in good form for their next career; begging, when the NFL can no longer afford to pay them to play.

I guess that common core maybe does not include the equation, professional player + NFL owners – audience = no money.

  3. Low ticket prices are just to put people in seats so that it doesn´t look quite so embarrassing on TV. They want that Superbowl revenue, but I don´t think they will be able to keep the ad rates up. If they do, watch for kick-backs!
As far as I´m concerned they have waaay too much money as it is if they can afford to give away 100 million (and we all know it will be more than that) to feed George Soros´ radical, bomb-throwing, Left-wing, Communist causes! His flying monkeys are doing everything they can to to divide, fracture and destroy the fundamental principles America stands for in the name of “victimhood” and fabricated “racism”! As I said before the NFL ate a Politically Correct torpedo fired from the Left deliberately aimed at destroying everything America stands for and football is as big a target as it gets and now they want to rob it blind.

    I won´t be a part of it!

  4. By contrast, the Army/Navy game was packed. Everyone stood for the prayer (which mentioned G_D!) and the Anthem; they even sang along with the choir. Imagine that. It was cold and wet there, but my confederates and I managed to tough it out to the end: 14-13 Army.

Oh, and no one ‘took a knee.’

  5. ya’ll owners best hurry up and sign that 40 million dollar contract for Goodell. Ya can’t let a good thing get away. Goodell has done a marvelous job of leading this league right down the sewer.

  6. They should do what NASCAR did about 10-12 years ago (when people started losing interest): change out the stadium seats to randomly-distributed, multi-colored seats, so to the casual tv viewer, it looks like a sold-out arena.
