FedEx responds to calls for boycott of NRA

FedEx Responds to Questions on the National Rifle Association, Gun Safety and Policy.

FedEx Corporation’s positions on the issues of gun policy and safety differ from those of the National Rifle Association (NRA).  FedEx opposes assault rifles being in the hands of civilians.  While we strongly support the constitutional right of U.S. citizens to own firearms subject to appropriate background checks, FedEx views assault rifles and large capacity magazines as an inherent potential danger to schools, workplaces, and communities when such weapons are misused.  We therefore support restricting them to the military.  Most important, FedEx believes urgent action is required at the local, state, and Federal level to protect schools and students from incidents such as the horrific tragedy in Florida on February 14th.

FedEx is a common carrier under Federal law and therefore does not and will not deny service or discriminate against any legal entity regardless of their policy positions or political views.  The NRA is one of hundreds of organizations in our alliances/association Marketing program whose members receive discounted rates for FedEx shipping.  FedEx has never set or changed rates for any of our millions of customers around the world in response to their politics, beliefs or positions on issues.

  1. FUDD ex! 😡

You numbnuts couldn’t deliver stink on a monkey; you’ve LOST more of my packages, than you’ve ever delivered, and you couldn’t find your way out of a box with no lid, if someone drew you arrows!

I refuse to do business with anyone who uses the FUDD, and you can take your UN-Constitutional viewpoint, and jam it up yer ass! :flipoff:

  2. I’m glad to say that while I disagree with their position, I am pleased to remain a customer. We can agree to disagree and do so without having anyone’s blood pressure going off the charts or being bullied into choosing sides.
What part of that didn’t Delta understand?

  3. Georgia Lt. Governor Casey Cagle, tells Delta Air Lines to wise to fuck up regarding their treatment of the NRA.
Bravo Lt. Gov. We need more men like you.
The NRA had nothing to do with the horror in Broward County. but the Sheriff and his Deputies did.

  4. FedEx was created because the USPS was/is too inept to get packages delivered in a timely fashion throughout the US Gubmint … (go figure; now USPS is delivering for Amazon!)
now, thanks to Obysmal’s deal, FedEx hires nothing but Somali illegals … who can barely drive, let alone deliver a package without damage

  5. We need to change the language around second amendment discussions. The second amendment, like all Constitutional rights, does not CONFER the right to bear arms, it prohibits the government from infringing on the God-given right to bear arms.

  6. I don’t think FedEx knows the difference between an ‘assault rifle’ and an AR. But in any case, they’re basically trying to say that they’re going to ‘shut up and package’. lol. I’m alright with it.
BTW, FedEx delivered $600+ worth of supplies which were irreplaceable and fragile, on my doorstep, with a smile and without so much as a packing peanut out of place. The post office usually crushes anything I have delivered and one time they left my bottle of insulin in their hot ass post office over the weekend because the asshole delivering on a Friday forgot to stop at my house. Because I saw his ass drive by, so that’s how I knew. Even with the special instructions saying get it to me ASAP they denied denied denied they did anything wrong.I told them off in front of a crowd of customers, and then began to use UPS and FedEx for all inbound deliveries.

There was a time when postal workers were the one shooting up the place. Do they have any comments at the USPS? They better NOT. Shut up and mis-deliver.

  7. Who I use when shipping guns. Very expensive as they will only do it overnight if I remember correctly, but it gets done. Been a while since I had to send any out…

UPS pisses their pants when you ask if they shipped guns.

  8. “FedEx is a common carrier under Federal law and therefore does not
and will not deny service or discriminate against any legal entity”
This is a bald faced lie.
Anyone remember “Ghost Gunner”? Look it up. Fedex and UPS refuse to
ship it even though it is a legal product.

  9. FedX is a solid company. They are walking a tightrope on this issue. If we were to outlaw corporate contributions to political campaigns and parties, maybe we wouldn’t have these problems.

Besides, I just invested in them for the first time last week and I don’t want their stock to tank. That was after a pharma holding I had lost money because POTUS Trump’s agenda calls for bringing down the prices in that sector. I’ve been zigging and zagging all over the place lately.

    > FedX is … walking a tightrope on this issue.

Because they, like so, SO, many others, climbed the ladder, bounded off the platform, and started screaming “Look at me! LOOK at me! Look at ME!”

Or, rather, the company has been dragged out on that rope by prinxesses. Who have been proven correct, that the company is their personal toy and piggy bank.

The simple “We do our jobs. We gouge our customers for as much a we can. We drive our workers for as little as we can. We send the difference to our rentiers. What they do with that is up to them.” prevents all this entanglement. But it also prevents prinxesses from prinxessing. And that’s, poutingly, bad.

  11. FedEx are also a bunch of maggots who try to fire those nearing retirement.
I try not to do business with them, or anyone who does business with them.

Couple of years ago we had something (roses, I think) shipped from Tennessee (to Missouri – the states touch) and it took over 10 days, the roses died, and ended up somewhere in Iowa.

    Fuck them.

    izlamo delenda est …
