Outbreak of yellow fever in Brazil

CDC/ Prof. Woodbridge Foster; Prof. Frank H. Collins

American Thinker- As we learned in school, yellow fever had a devastating impact on the world around the time of the construction of the Panama Canal, a little over 100 years ago.

Sadly, there is an outbreak of yellow fever in Brazil, as we see in this report:

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has advice for people thinking about traveling to most parts of Brazil: get vaccinated against yellow fever, or stay home.

Brazil is currently suffering a major outbreak of the hemorrhagic fever, and it’s striking places that don’t normally see the virus.  Since the beginning of 2017, 237 people, including several tourists, have died after becoming infected with the virus. MORE

  1. It’ll probably show up here soon enough, like most of the plagues we were rid of.
Actually I’m surprised some sinister group hasn’t tried spreading infected mosquito’s yet, they’re the perfect assassin. Must be trickier than I thought.

  2. but don’t let anyone use ddt, because of flawed liberal science.

    yellow fever was once eradicated.

some fake news show should ask hillary if banning ddt and having diseases reemerge due to it is really moving forward or is it moving backward ?

  3. and don’t think there isn’t a lesson to be learned here which correlates to the banning of so called fossil fuels to reduce carbon output either.

imagine the hunger and disease that will decimate the populations once they are banned.

almost like that’s the end game, right ?

  4. There was a Yellow Fever epidemic
in Philadelphia back in the 18th
century. That means it can be brought
    back here through various means
    from places like Brazil.

  5. Can you bring it home to the neighbors? If you were “just dancing” with a dozen of those “so fine, you know they were ‘born that way'” ladyboys. (Asking for a friend.)
