While in Afghanistan I had the opportunity to eat a French MRE. It seemed like it was all granola bars. No wine. No cheese.

No we like to starve and constipate our infantry. Also our MREs have 1250 calories. Gender neutral food standards. I learned this some years ago when one of my 6’4″ sons dropped 40 pounds during a one-month field exercise.
