David Hogg Gets Fact-Checked On Air By CNN Anchor

DC: Parkland shooting survivor and gun-control activist David Hogg was fact-checked twice during a Monday morning appearance on CNN’s “New Day” with Alisyn Camerota.

Camerota first challenged Hogg regarding comments he made during the March for Our Lives that accused Republican Florida Sen. Marco Rubio of putting a price tag on students’ lives. “I want to talk to you about Senator Marco Rubio, because my eyes were opened when I was there and you guys have sort of targeted him as somebody who you don’t think is doing enough.”

Bringing up the Stop School Violence Act and several other bipartisan efforts to ban bump stocks and create red flag laws, Camerota suggested that maybe Hogg’s “ire was misdirected” considering what Rubio is doing.

Camerota then delivered a second challenge, asking, “Do you think it is helpful when you say things like Marco Rubio is putting, for $1.05, or whatever your coupon said, that’s how much he values students. I mean, do you think that’s unnecessarily provocative?”

Hogg doubled down on his prior attack, saying that it wasn’t “provocative enough.”  more

  1. I don’t often comment on someone’s looks – usually they can’t help it, but his smug, thin / tight-lipped mouth told me he would never listen to the points of anyone except those who agreed with him. Completely angry and closed off.

He is not worth engaging with because this kind of closed-mindedness is hopeless.

  2. He wasn’t challenged enough – the NRA’s mission is not to sell more guns. Their mission is protecting and defending the Constitution with a focus on the 2nd amendment. He is just plain wrong and making false statements that don’t get challenged.

  3. “Parkland shooting survivor”? Boss Hogg got shot?

Maybe a “witness”. Oh, that’s right, he didn’t see anything. While hiding in a closet.

How about “Parkland shooting loiterer”? Or maybe “Parkland shooting law enforcement hero”? But “survivor”? Um, no.

  4. Suddenly CNN is not so sure about the Teen Anthony Fremont they’ve created, and now they’re asking some hard questions. I guess they realize how pathetic they look, sucking up to a child-tyrant whom everybody hates. Even lefties know he’s a dick, guaranteed.

  5. Those “very wise young Americans” can challenge everyone. They can go after the rights of all others. They can offend families, religion and believes. But if we say anything to them, even question Hogg’s weird timeline, we’re “bullies going after traumatized kids.”

  6. Dweeby little Sean Penn wanna be likely to have pictures of Obama on his ceiling. And his dad is supposed to be a former employee of the FBI? Let me guess: In their living room is a blown up photo of his dad with Obama on one side and Michael Moore on the other.

  7. You would think he would quit shopping in the men’s section, he is built like a 12 year old.
    Same level of maturity too.
I know a snot nosed, white privileged brat is my go to for world news and breaking edge opinion.
You have him as an equilateral triangle head, think he is more obtuse.

  8. Let’s see……there’s 100,000 schools in the USA creating little zombies just like this; some eventually becoming teachers themselves.

Tell me again why I shouldn’t be stocking-up on ammo and long-term food ?????

  9. This guy’s a fake. He can’t even get his story straight about how the events unfolded that morning. In one account he’s at the school and in another he’s at home and grabs his phone and jumps on his bike and heads to the school. Pure hoggwash!

  10. He was at school, not at home, y’all. Bad editing by 27-year-old know-nothings at CBS left out the part where he rode his bike back to school later at six to play junior social justice reporter and get noticed. Now this bad editing by CBS will result in Snopes being able to debunk Fake News about Saint Hogg.

    > He reminds me of someone who will in twenty years serve kool-aid to a compound full of people.

Which will still be dealing with them before the Constitutional conservatives even get their shoes on.
