Dangerous: The Internet roared with laughter Wednesday as the Palestinian Information Center was caught using a photo of a popular American medical TV drama to drum up support for Palestine.
In response to the ongoing protests taking place on the Gaza border in which Palestinian terrorists and activists are waging attacks on Israel, the Palestinian Information Center posted a picture of a blonde doctor on its Facebook page with the description: “A French doctor arrives in Gaza Strip to offer medical help to the wounded Palestinian protesters.”
The Palestinian Information Center describes itself on Facebook as a media and news company in Gaza City. The “news agency” has over half a million followers on Facebook to which it claimed the likeness of a fake TV doctor traveled to Gaza to support the Palestinian people.
However, it doesn’t require a double take to quickly realize that the blonde woman in the picture is not a French doctor with a liking for the Palestinian people, but is instead American actress Katherine Heigl, who is famous for playing Dr. Izzie Steven’s from Grey’s Anatomy, a popular American medical drama.
