WFB: Gun control activist David Hogg on Tuesday called for the boycott of at least 15 financial firms because of their investments in gun manufacturers.

Hogg, a 18-year-old student who survived the February mass shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., used his Twitter platform to push for the boycott of 15 financial firms, specifically the Vanguard Group and and BlackRock.

“@blackrock and @Vanguard_Group are two of the biggest investors in gun manufacturers; if you use them, feel free to let them know. Thanks 😉” Hogg tweeted. “#BoycottVanguard #BoycottBlackrock.”  read more

  1. Blackrock and Vanguard both are invested in Twitter so Hogg is wanting to mess in his own kennel with this one. How is he going to get his twisted messages out without tweeting?

    I sincerely hope when he grows up, if he grows up past the pajama boy/soy boy mental handicap, that he looks back on all of this and realizes he needs to stay away from drugs. Including the drug of media attention.

  5. I read somewhere that Boss Hogg was not at the school during the shooting, but rode to the school on his bicycle with his camera? He was not a “survivor.” Could somebody clear that up for me? Aside from that I hear that Laura Ingraham is doing just fine since she gave him a slap.

  7. I have no money in the “markets” but that would impel me to buy into BlackRock and Vanguard.

    Hopefully, he’ll wake up some day and read some history.

  9. I have funds in both Blackrock and Vanguard. Approaching retirement, I’ve been considering moving these funds to safer lower yield tills.

  10. He singled out Blackrock and Vanguard because those are the only 2 on the list of 15 you’d recognize. INVESCO (according to his sorted list) is a bigger investor than Vanguard. Not as many people know about INVESCO though, so there you have it.

He was there, en passant, a loser who didn’t happen to get shot, but decided to exploit the tragedy. He “survived” nothing and I don’t think his track record of survival will get better as he ages. …Lady in Red

    From what I gathered, he was in the school, made the video in closet during a drill. In the afternoon the shooting happened, he was able to walk around the bodies of his fellow students, went home, got his camera, and rode back to school to make another video.
    It’s very confusing, but we aren’t allowed to question them because “traumatized”.

    I thought he had gone away, replaced by Stormy Comey, but looks like Hogg won’t give up his 15 so easily.

  20. @Poor Lazlo – He “survived” to cash in on the fame and fortune on the backs of his classmates. He’s getting his ass kicked every where by the push backs. Laura Ingraham’s program has recovered and then some. His sippy cup I think has been taken away, poor Tide Pod eating baby.

  32. in one CNN interview, Hogg said he was not at the school when the shooting happened- heard about it some how- and got on his bike and peddled three miles to get there. CNN let it pass- because if it’s true he lied about being in the school for the shooting which lasted about 10 minutes only. no one has dared question Precious about this little slip up. it appears he wasn’t there for the shooting but who knows if the truth will ever come out.
