BPR: Hillary Clinton is going to have a leading role in the Republican Party’s 2018 midterm strategy.
The failed Democratic presidential nominee, whose own party wishes she would return to her home in the woods for a while, doesn’t appear to be going away. And the GOP is betting on that fact to score some major wins in the coming months.
“We’re going to make them own her,” Republican National Committee spokesman Rick Gorka said, according to Fox News.

Bad idea. The youth didn’t want her the first time round. They want to hear about the future and not the old bitty from the past. OK to make her the symbol of the failed past, but they need to hook to show a better way forward.

Trump needs to hold a few televised reports during primetime and go straight to the people. Explain what he’s trying to do and the special interests in Washington who are blocking him and why. Keep it simple and keep repeating it. He can explain who, in both parties, are stopping the progress and he needs the public’s help in rooting them out.
