I get emails from California Republicans

From time to time I get an email form Jeffrey D, Burum, “The Cali Bear,” who is running for   I don’t live in California, so I figured I would ask our California readers what you think of him.

So, what do you think of him?

What do you think of the Republicans running in California? Any good choices? Anyone not getting the attention he or she deserves? (Attention can mean good or bad, if we play it right. lol)

Let’s hear your reviews about anyone running for anything. From dog catcher to senator. You may be helping someone out there who hasn’t made up their mind yet.

Thanksies in advancies.

  1. Don’t know anything about the guy but you have me thinking about setting up a Gmail account for the sole purpose of subscribing to potential and existing politicians.

Since my wife ran for a local office, my email is spammed with stupid Republicans. I’m talking about the RINO’s. I should just separate the political from my day-to-day.

  2. Mja have you been listening to Pinko and Mike on Monday’s
I have been trying to get people more involved in their local races, it does not take much to turn a voter to our side.
Next week I will be talking about MaCaskill and who to support.
Josh Hawley looks like the guy that needs help.
Have not looked at Calif. yet have you?
I will ask Brad or Left Coast Dan.

  3. Only ones I know of that I plan to vote for are Steven Bailey for AG and Travis Allen for governor. But I don’t know a lot about them either.
    Of course there’s my Congress’man’ Ted Lieu – can’t imagine a better candidate! 🙁

  4. I’m voting for Allen too. Forget that Cox guy he is an antiTrumper and voted Libertarian. I already posted this here but some how it disappeared! Jeffrey D, Burum, is down in Southern California. I read his tweets and other things, he seems like a staunch Republican. But we all know how that works out in the end.

  5. Dan and Fox do you have 2 or 3 hours a week to help anyone you support? They would love it, and you never know your guy or gal might win with your help.

  6. CA 26 is kind of a mixed bag politically. The problem is the Republicn National Committee seems to have completely ignored California; CA 26 has flip-flopped quite a bit in the past, but in recent history there are times when no Republican has been on the ballot.

Burum is running against a Democrat incumbent, and I know little to nothing about him. Orange County is basically south of Los Angeles, and California 26 (essentially Ventura county) is just north of LA. The problem is not distance but time – it can frequently take more than 3 hours to slog up the freeways through LA to Oxnard – so following elections in that district can be difficult because it seems like a long way away
