Daily Caller: New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman resigned from office Monday night following serious allegations that he was physically and emotionally abusive to multiple women.
The New Yorker reported Monday that four women accuse Schneiderman of being abusive toward them, including slapping them, choking them and controlling their behavior in extreme ways. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo called for an investigation into Schneiderman’s conduct and urged him to resign as AG.
Schneiderman denies the allegations and claims his actions were part of “role-playing” scenarios between consensual adults.
